This 1 hour workshop will demonstrate how to garden with native perennials to bring texture, color, and architectural statements to your home landscape to create a stunning garden space that supports wildlife. First, a Nebraska wildlife habitat expert will discuss the benefits of native plants for wildlife, and methods for attracting a variety of birds to your home landscape. Then, the Kearney Parks and Rec Horticulturist will provide a tour of Yanney Parks native garden beds and showcase the plants you can use in home gardens. All workshop materials will be provided for you. Goodie bags with helpful resources and guides and swag will be provided to workshop attendees! 

Free, but registration is required. This workshop is limited to 25 attendees. Please check in at the information booth by the pavilion 15 minutes before the workshop begins.
