The Iain Nicolson Audubon Center at Rowe Sanctuary is located at the heart of a critical spring staging area for hundreds of thousands of migrating Sandhill Cranes, and visitors can experience one of the last great wildlife migrations on the planet. Outside of the spring migration, the sanctuary boasts close encounters with iconic grassland and riverine birds.

Hours of Operation

The Iain Nicolson Audubon Center and west trail are currently closed due to ongoing construction, but our trails are open daily from dawn-dusk, look for signage to indicate the trailhead location. 

We remain open year-round, except most holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year's. Admission is free. Donations are appreciated and go directly towards our conservation work throughout the Central Platte River Valley.
