Why You Should Become a Sponsor

Iain Nicolson Audubon Center at Rowe Sanctuary is a premier destination for bird and nature enthusiasts, hosting one of the greatest wildlife spectacles in North America. During a six week period each spring known as ‘Crane Season’, more than 27,000 visitors from across the United States and dozens of foreign countries travel to south Central Nebraska to witness the spring migration of 600,000 Sandhill Cranes—over 8% of the world’s Sandhill Crane population. These birds utilize the Central Flyway, including Rowe Sanctuary’s 2,800+ acres of protected habitat with nearly 5 miles of native Platte River habitat, to safely migrate.

A Special Event to Benefit Rowe Sanctuary Celebration

Crane Celebration is a special event to raise funds to support the conservation and education programs at Rowe Sanctuary. After enjoying heavy hors d’oeuvres and drinks, guests will take in the breath-taking sites and sounds in our new dis-covery station blinds as thousands of cranes returning to roost along the sand-bars in the Platte River. Audubon hopes to attract up to 100 guests.

Sponsorship Opportunity

Area businesses, foundations, and individuals are invited to support the mission of Audubon’s Rowe Sanctuary by becoming a Crane Celebration Sponsor. Sponsorships are $1,000 and entitle the sponsor to four complimentary event tickets and written and verbal recognition at the celebration. Note: $700 of the $1,000 sponsorship is a tax-deductible contribution.
