Join us for a magical evening of music under the open sky at Pickin’ on the Prairie, featuring award-winning folk artist John Depew. Hailing from the wide-open plains where cows outnumber people—and he prefers it that way—John brings a soulful blend of storytelling and stringwork that captures the spirit of the prairie.

A Krutz Artist, Kansas State Mandolin Champion (2022), and member of the Kansas Arts Commission’s Touring Artist Roster, John’s music is rooted in tradition and shaped by the land he calls home.
