Join us for a fun family workshop where you'll learn the art of origami while celebrating crane season!   Instructor Lois Smith will help you create your own beautiful origami cranes, a symbol of peace and migration, and connect with nature as you explore the fascinating world of cranes.   Families will also get to experience indoor crane viewing as cranes come into the river valley to roost while taking this 1.5 hour art course.  

This programming is provided in collaboration with the Museum of Nebraska Art (MONA).

Each workshop includes an art project component followed by indoor crane viewing from our Visitor's Center.  This is a great way for families with children under 10 years of age to be introduced to the crane migration!  Perfect for all ages! 

All art supplies will be provided.
