Kass is the Facilities Assistant at Audubon’s Rowe Sanctuary. He was born and raised in North Platte, Nebraska. This area is home to Lake Maloney and where the North and South Platte River join to create the Platte River. Growing up swimming, fishing, and being in the Scouts for 13 years helped Kass develop a deep love for Nebraska’s natural beauty.
Kass moved to Kearney, NE in 2012 to attend the University of Nebraska at Kearney to further his education in Public History. He has volunteered for many community events and charities through his former job with Target and through the local PFLAG chapter. He married his spouse Noah in 2022, and they have two cats Joan and Charlie.
