Join us for a guided bird walk at Rowe Sanctuary on Saturday, July 26. This event will begin at 8:30am at the Iain Nicolson Visitor Center and will include a ½ mile walk on Rowe Sanctuary’s hiking trails. For beginners and experts alike, this event is free, fun, and an easy way for people of all ages and abilities to learn tricks and tips to identify local birds. Participants can expect a peaceful morning stroll along the Platte River while discovering the sights and sounds of Nebraska’s summer birdlife. We recommend participants wear long pants, closed toe shoes, a hat, bug spray, and sunscreen. This event is free, but registration is encouraged.
